Philippines not taking part in 2012 AFC U-19 championship qualifiers

Kuala Lumpur: AFC has announced the rankings for the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers.

A total of 39 Member Associations have expressed their interest in taking part in this competition.

Six MAs – Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Timor Leste – have decided not to take part in the event while Brunei are suspended by FIFA.

The rankings are based on the teams’ performances in the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship and its qualifiers.
